Birmingham, ALJames Dunstonwas traveling north on U.S. 11 when he lost control of his car, left the roadway, and struck a tree. He was declared dead at the scene. Authorities believe that some sort of medical condition caused the accident.

Birmingham, ALA man was killed in a wreck this afternoon in the 1800 block of U.S. 11, according to Trussville police.
Police said the victim pulled out of a shopping center parking lot when his car was T-boned by another vehicle.
The victim was identified as Arthur Carson, 91, of Leeds, according to the Jefferson County Deputy Coroner.
