Just before 8:45 a.m., an ambulance carrying a patient crashed into a school bus from Valpraiso Community Schools. The bus was transporting 59 fifth-graders, 12 of which suffered minor injuries in the crash. Two ambulance employees and the patient in the ambulance were taken to local hospitals. Witnesses say the ambulance did not have emergency lights or sirens on at the time of the crash. The 23-year-old driver of the ambulance was driving with a suspended license.

At around 2:45 p.m. an ambulance, a pickup, and a school bus headed to University High School crashed near the intersection of Harley Strickland Boulevard and Veterans Memorial Parkway in Orange City. The ambulance reportedly struck a pole. It is not known if anyone was injured. The bus driver, bus attendant and the bus attendant's child were not injured in the crash. More information will be posted as it's released.

Three adults and 16 children suffered injuries when an ambulance crashed into a bus Sunday in Brooklyn, sources said. The vehicles collided at 51st St. and Fort Hamilton Parkway in Borough Park at 8:57 p.m., officials said.

A crash involving a Town of Kewaskum ambulance, a school bus and another vehicle injured six people Friday, five of whom had to be taken to hospitals, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office. Conditions were not immediately available on the five, who included three ambulance staff, one patient being transported and the driver of the other vehicle, according to a sheriff's office news release. According to the release, the crash was reported shortly before 11 a.m. at the intersection of State Highway 45 and County Highway H/Badger Road in the Town of Kewaskum.
