Matthew Caron was driving south on Chief O.F. Love Road when he drove off the roadway and struck a concrete barrier. The vehicle continued into a ditch, then flipped over and struck a tree. Caron was pronounced dead at the scene. Caron was an active duty solider stationed nearby.

Savannah law enforcement officers are investigating a single-vehicle accident that left both occupants in critical condition on Wednesday night. Carrie Cooper, 37, was transported by ambulance, and Richard Burnsed, 47, was airlifted to Memorial University Medical Center, after both were ejected from the vehicle into the marsh on US 80 East at 9 p.m. Burnsed was driving a 2004 Toyota Tundra west on US 80 near of Fort Pulaski, when he lost control of the vehicle which exited the roadway and rolled over.

The driver of an SUV died after losing control of his vehicle, rolling it and being ejected while driving at high speed across several lanes of southbound I-75 at University Avenue in Atlanta, Georgia.  Two passengers were critically injured and taken to the hospital.  The investigation is ongoing.

Four people were injured in a three car crash in front of Ridegland High School Friday night. A car driving west on Georgia 2 near Happy Valley Road was turning left when the driver hit a car traveling east. One of the cars overturned and struck a third car. The crash is still under investigation, but Georgia State Patrol says preliminary findings indicate the first car failed to yield to oncoming traffic. Four people were injured.

According to Effingham County Sheriff's Office Spokesman David Ehsanipoor, "Initial reports indicate the driver of the 2013 Hyundai sedan was traveling northbound on Georgia Highway 21 when she struck a guard rail causing her vehicle to flip several times."

Orange paint marks what happened seconds before Thursday's crash on Old CCC Camp Road. Four teenagers, two boys and two girls, were riding in a truck just before 5:00 when it lost control and rolled at least once. When it rolled over, it hit Bryan Bartley cutting his grass on a mower.

Former Auburn University football star Philip Lutzenkirchen reportedly died in a car accident on Sunday. Georgia State Patrol say that 22-year-old Joseph Ian Davis and 23-year-old Philip Lutzenkirchen were killed in the accident, which occurred at 3 a.m. at the intersection of Upper Springs Road and Lower Springs Road in Troup County in Georgia. State Patrol officers say that the 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe, that Davis was driving, failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection.
