37-year-old April Skillern was driving on Browning Road at about 7:45 p.m., when she lost control and crashed her vehicle. The vehicle rolled in the crash and Skillern was ejected, as she was not wearing a seat belt. Police have said that she was under the influence of alcohol and traveling at an excessive speed when the crash happend. She was pronounced dead before she could be airlifted to the hospital.

Daniel Ethan Stamper was driving on Tates Creek Road at high speed when his vehicle clipped another vehicle, then was t-boned by a third. Stamper died at the scene due to blunt force trauma. Stamper was not wearing a seat belt.

Shawnna Murray of Marion was driving a white pickup on KY453 in Livingston County just before 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday when the truck left the road, struck a culvert, became airborne, and hit a tree before finally coming to a stop off the road. Murray, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her passenger, Heath Coursey of Salem, was airlifted to a hospital in Evansville, Indiana, where he was last reported in serious condition.

A Friday morning accident left one man dead and shut down traffic for several hours along Dixie Highway. The incident began with a fistfight between two men who got into a fight outside the Taco Bell on Dixie Highway around 3:45 a.m. Friday morning. A chase ensued, but it did not last long. The Jefferson County Coroner's identified the deceased driver as 44-year-old Joseph Harper, who died at the crash scene. The crash knocked down the street light pole and then the street lights were on the ground in the middle of Dixie Highway.
