The passenger who was killed Tuesday in a high-speed crash on Tates Creek Road has been identified as Daniel Ethan Stamper, 19, according to the Fayette County coroner's office.

Fayette Coroner Gary Ginn says Daniel Ethan Stamper, 19, died in a crash Tuesday morning in Lexington. The coroner said Stamper did not have a lot of "external injuries so there must be quite a bit of internal," which indicates he likely died from the impact of the crash.
Daniel Ethan Stamper was driving on Tates Creek Road at high speed when his vehicle clipped another vehicle, then was t-boned by a third. Stamper died at the scene due to blunt force trauma. Stamper was not wearing a seat belt.
