An accident Saturday killed a 92-year-old man and injured three other people on I-94 in Sandstone Township, Michigan. The crash was reported to authorites at 11:18 AM. When responders arrived, it was found that a GMC Envoy lost control on the snowy highway and overturned several times before coming to rest near a fence line at the bottom of an embankment. Woodrow Williams of Detroit, a passenger in the Envoy, was found dead at the scene, and three other occupants of the vehicle were sent to Allegiance health with injuries that did not appear life threatening.

Hayes was driving an SUV in which Houle-Redner was a passenger north on 13 Mile Road at about 8:33am when he suddenly departed the roadway into a ditch and finally struck a tree. The two occupants were trapped in the crushed vehicle, and after they were extricated, Houle-Redner was pronounced dead at the scene while Hayes was taken to Bronson Methodist Hospital via helicopter, where he remains in critical condition. Investigators believe that excessive speed for the conditions and ice on the roadway both contributed to the accident, but it is still under investigation.

A man and his son were driving east on Gilford when the man lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, and struck a tree. The man was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The son suffered minor injuries. Authorities believe icy weather conditions were to blame.

Two teens were injured when a school bus they were riding drove off a road, striking a tree. The accident reportedly occured near Dagget Road and Tamarack Road, northwest of Howard City. The exact conditions of the students have not been released, but the injuries were not considered life-threatening. The students were an 11th-grade girl and an 8th-grade boy, and their names have not yet been released. Weather conditions are considered a contributing factor in this accident.

Sometime in the morning, a car driven by Westphal with Majewski and Kocsis as passengers slid on some slush, veered off the road, and came to rest after crashing into a tree. While Westphal was not hurt in the crash, both of his passengers were injured and taken to the hospital via ambulance. Authorities claim that Westphal was simply driving too fast for the slippery road conditions.

A 16-year-old Lenawee County teen was killed in a single vehicle accident Monday morning. Brody Fry was the driver and only occupant of a 2001 Ford pick-up truck that left the roadway on Skinner Highway and struck a tree. Police said Fry, an Onsted High School student, was pronounced dead at the scene. Fry was northbound on Skinner Highway at 7:40 a.m. Nov. 17 when his vehicle left the east side of the roadway, went airborne and struck a tree. The crash occurred  a-quarter-mile south of Rome Road in Rome Township.
