One person was killed in a two-vehicle wreck in O’Fallon, Mo. Thursday morning.
Officials say both cars ended up in a ditch after the accident near the intersection of Weldon Spring Rd. and Technology Dr. around 11 a.m.
Additional injuries were reported, though the number of people affected and severity were unknown.
Technology drive was closed from Weldon Spring west to Highway K.
The cause of the wreck was unknown
A pedestrian was struck by a semi Tuesday morning on 291 Highway in Independence.
It happened around 6 a.m. between Salisbury and Independence Avenue.
Police state that the pedestrian died.
The southbound lanes of the highway were closed for several hours, but have reopened.
A fatal crash involving a semi and a car has closed the eastbound lanes of Interstate 435 at N. Congress.
It happened just before 11 a.m. Monday. The driver of the car was killed in the crash.
No other injuries were reported.
Traffic is being diverted to Interstate 29.
Several lanes of Interstate 270 were closed due to a multi-vehicle collision in west St. Louis County on Monday.
The wreck happened in the northbound lanes of the interstate just past Interstate 64 around around 8:15 a.m.
Four lanes of I-270 were shut down until crews cleared the scene about 9 a.m.

Police say the driver, 38-year-old Leroy Walters, was killed in the crash at 12th and Hardesty in Kansas City, Mo. The passenger in Walter’s car sustained live threatening injuries. That passenger was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The driver of the second vehicle sustained minor injuries, but refused treatment at the scene.
Police say neither Walters nor his passenger were wearing seat belts.
One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a weather-related accident in south St. Louis County Friday afternoon.
St. Louis County Police said the accident involved two vehicles. One vehicle lost control and t-boned.
Authorities reported that two people were critically injured when the car was struck. One of the victims was pronounced dead later at the hospital. No one else involved in the crash was injured.
The identities of the victims have not been released yet.
