Leroy Walters killed, two others injured in car accident in Kansas City.

One person is dead and two others injured following a two-car crash.

Police say the driver, 38-year-old Leroy Walters, was killed in the crash at 12th and Hardesty in Kansas City, Mo. The passenger in Walter’s car sustained live threatening injuries. That passenger was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The driver of the second vehicle sustained minor injuries, but refused treatment at the scene.
Police say neither Walters nor his passenger were wearing seat belts.
