Woman killed in rollover accident on NE Mt. Olivet Road and Scottsdale Road near Smithville, Missouri

Deputies are investigating the cause of a rollover accident that left one person dead early Saturday morning. The Clay County Sheriff’s Department stated that the accident happened around 7:30 a.m. near NE Mt. Olivet Road and Scottsdale Road, just south of Smithville, Mo. The female driver was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s unclear what may have caused her to go off the road.
