One dead, another in critical condition after wreck in South County.
One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a weather-related accident in south St. Louis County Friday afternoon.
St. Louis County Police said the accident involved two vehicles. One vehicle lost control and t-boned.
Authorities reported that two people were critically injured when the car was struck. One of the victims was pronounced dead later at the hospital. No one else involved in the crash was injured.
The identities of the victims have not been released yet.
Police did not say what caused the wreck.
The accident happened on Telegraph Road at the Meramec River Bridge around noon.
UPDATE: The dead person in this accident has been identified as Sharon Barteau. The other victim, her 8 year old daughter, is still critical. 12/09/13
