An unidentified driver was likely speeding when they were eastbound on Lake Road and left the roadway at the intersection with Cornwall Road. The car first struck a concrete wall before rotating and crashing into a house, where it flipped upside-down and caught fire. The driver was killed, and has been difficult to identify due to the severity of their burns. One person was in the house at the time, but they were uninjured. Patty A. Rohde, 66, killed in collision with dump truck during inclement weather on US 22 NW in Fayette County, OH

It was about 7:39am when a car driven by Rohde drifted into the oncoming lane of US 22 NW and collided with a dump truck driven by James M. Taylor, 31. Police believe that a combination of the below-freezing temperatures and blowing snow that were present at the time contributed to Rohde losing control. Taylor was uninjured in the crash, but Rohde was declared dead at the scene.

One person has died following a car crash in Whitewater Township, Ohio. The accident occured on Monday, October 27 when the driver of an SUV lost control on a curve on State Route 128 near 5255. The vehicle went off the road, into a creek bed, rolled, then caught fire. The driver died at the scene. The victim's identity is being withheld until a positive identification is made and the family is properly notified.

Toledo, Ohio -  The Glass City, and The Crossroads of America

This 400-foot (120 m) tall bridge includes a glass covered pylon, which lights up at night, adding a distinctive feature to Toledo's skyline. The Anthony Wayne Bridge, a 3,215-foot suspension bridge crossing the Maumee River, has been a staple of Toledo's skyline for more than 70 years.
