A motorcycle crash on Highway 412 near 129th West Avenue killed Jerimy Dale Townley, 36, just after 11:30 Friday night in Tulsa County. Townley was traveling east on Highway 412 when his motorcycle exited the road and collided with a cable barrier. Townley was transported to a Tulsa hospital and pronounced deceased upon arrival.

It was about 7:15 p.m. when a 14-year-old boy was driving an ATV through a pasture in Caddo County and crashed into a cow. As he was not wearing a helmet or a seat belt, his vehicle flipped and he sustained a severe head injury. Responders pronounced him dead at the scene.

A fatal ATV accident occured around 5:37 p.m., and involved two people from Sand Springs. Oklahoma Highway Patrol say the driver lost control of his ATV at Motorcycle Island.  Moments later, both he and his female passenger became separated from the vehicle. The passenger, Denise Zawaski, was declared dead at the scene. The driver, Ty Gant, was sent to a Tulsa area hospital. Neither of the riders were wairing helmets. Kenneth Igo Jr. was killed in a collision with a deer in southeast Oklahoma City Thursday and around 8:15 a.m. at SE 89 and Choctaw Road. He was not wearing a helmet and was found dead at the scene.

An Avant man, James Hendrix, 56, was critically injured when his motorcycle collided with a deer in Osage County on Tuesday, September 30, and he died of his injuries on Wednesday, October 1.

The ATV, being driven by Angela Russell, 33, of Chouteau, went off the road. The child, whose name was not released, was taken to a nearby hospital where she died.

The OHP report states a 2002 Honda TRX 500 driven by James Votaw, 18, of Inola was eastbound when he lost control on a curve, went off the road throwing both him and his passenger, a 16-year-old girl off the ATV. The OHP report said Votaw was driving at an unsafe speed at the time of the crash.  Troopers said neither Votaw or the teen were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
