At around 10:30am, a vehicle cotaining four people was traveling northbound when it crossed into the southbound lanes, struck the rear of one car, and then struck another car head-on. Of the people in that vehicle, John and Jenny Nguyen were pronounced dead at the scene, and the two other 16-year-old passengers in their vehicle were hospitalized. The three people in the vehicle that was struck head-on were also hospitalized, but the occupants of the other vehicle involved were uninjured.

Troopers said a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling east on Highway 16 in Okmulgee County when its driver, Patches Campbell, 21, of Beggs, drove off the road, overcorrected and rolled the SUV before crashing into a telephone pole. Campbell was ejected from the Trailblazer and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers, an 18-month female and a 3-year-old male, survived the crash and were transported to an Okmulgee hospital where they were treated and released.

Rhonda Schroeder was repotedly driving at a high rate of speed when she lost control of her car and collided head-on with a truck. She was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries.

A Dallas woman died when her car crashed Friday in Carter County. Around 4:30 p.m., Julissa Rodriguez, 42, was driving on Interstate 35 just north of Springer when her vehicle left the roadway and overturned. Check back for more information as it becomes available.

Valarie Sanchez was driving eastbound on State Highway 34C when she failed to make a curve and ran off the right side of the road. Sanchez then over-corrected and rolled two times. She was trapped in the vehicle for more than an hour. Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, four miles east of Woodward. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to troopers. The passenger in the vehicle, Dulce Flores, 20, was sent to the hospital and has since been released. She was wearing a seat belt during the crash. OHP cited the cause of the crash as unsafe speed on a curve or turn.

McKala Miner, 29, of Pawnee and a five year old girl killed, a second passenger injured in car accident with James Goblet, 23 when his Dodge struck her vehicle head on and rolled.  Miner's  second passenger was transported to a local hospital.  Goblet was taken to Stillwater Hospital, treated, and released into trooper custody.  Clint Hobbs, 26,  a passenger in Goblet's vehicle, was taken to the hospital.  The cause of the accident is listed as a DUI.

Kitchens was heading south on U.S. Highway 69 in Wagoner County at 7:24 a.m. Friday when he drove off the right side of the road and struck a culvert. Kitchens’ vehicle was launched into the air and turned over twice before landing on its top. Kitchens was ejected from the vehicle and landed 60 feet away. He was sent to Estar Hospital in Muskogee, where he was later pronounced dead from a head injury.

A tanker truck carrying crude oil rolled on State Highway 18, just north of Chandler, Oklahoma Wednesday, October 22. The highway was shut down as crews cleared the oil spill. The driver was taken to the hospital but is reported to be in good condition.

A young driver has died in a crash on a rural Osage County road Saturday evening. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has not identified the driver or the juvenile passenger but did say both are from Pawhuska. The passenger was sent to a Tulsa hospital in good condition. Troopers say the pair were driving east on County Road 4301 when they went off the road, hit a dirt embankment and rolled the car an unknown number of times. According to the accident report, neither the driver nor the passenger were wearing a seatbelt and the driver was ejected from the rolling car.

Savannah Marie Piatt, 18, of Phoenix, also an OSU student and Alpha Omicron Pi sorority member, was killed at the site of a single-vehicle rollover accident on County Road 175 near Deer Ridge, Oklahoma. Driver Morgan is allegedly being investigated for driving under the influence, and the investigation is ongoing.
