Houston, TXA 58-year-old man was driving a blue Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV northbound on the Eastex Freeway service road at about 4:30 p.m. when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a freeway light pole. He was not wearing a seat belt, and died in the accident. No further information was released.

Austin, TXGroth was driving a car in which Griffin, Ezekiel Flemmer, 17, and Zachery Trueblood were passengers on County Road 120 at about 10:30pm when he veered off of the roadway to the left. He then overcorrected and left the road to the right, where he crashed through a fence before finally hitting a tree, with the impact causing the car to catch fire. It is believed that Groth was speeding when he lost control.

Central TexasLate in the night, a vehicle containing Padron-Rivera and Diaz crashed into a tree off of Fitzhugh Road, and Padron-Rivera was not wearing a seatbelt. Both occupants were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Check back for updates including details on the cause of this accident.
