Just before 10:30 a.m., Meghan A. Callahan's 2000 Hyundai Accent sedan was southbound on Highway 99E when it crossed the center line and collided head-on with an oncoming semi. Callahan, 31, died at the scene, and a 9-year-old passenger was flown to Oregon Health Sciences University, where they died. The driver of the truck was not injured. A mother, later identified as Kerri Chavez, 32, and her two young children and a semi driver were injured Thursday in a crash at Northlake and Hall boulevards in The Acreage.
