Charlotte, NCA Union County school bus driver died Monday after a collision with a garbage truck in Waxhaw. The crash occurred around 3 p.m. on New Town Road near Waxhaw Indian Trail Road when the driver of the garbage truck crossed the center line on a curve and collided with bus #334 head-on. The driver of the bus, Timothy Jerome McManus, was pronounced deceased at the crash site. McManus had worked for the school district for three years. The driver of the garbage truck was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. No children were on board the bus at the time of the crash.

Boise, IDOne woman was hospitalized Monday morning with minor injuries following a collision between a school bus and a passenger car at the intersection of Highway 44 and Park Lane in Eagle, Idaho. The accident occured around 10:00 a.m. when the school bus, which had no students aboard, was driving south on Park Lane and stopped at the traffic light at Highway 44. An eastbound Buick made a wide turn onto Park Lane and collided with the rear of the bus. Firefighters removed the woman in the Buick from the roof of her car and transported her to Saint Alphonsus.

Monday, October 20, 2014A school bus carrying special needs children overturned on Route 741 (Strasburg Road) following a collision with a dump truck. Injuries have been reported. The accident occured around 8:25 a.m. in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania near South Vintage Road in Paradise Township on October 20, 2014.
