At about 10:35 p.m., McClure was driving west in the eastbound lanes of I-68 when he first side-swiped an eastbound vehicle driven by Charles Custer, 25. His car then continued to collide head-on with another eastbound vehicle, driven by Cole. Both Cole and McClure were killed in the crash, while Custer was injured but has already been treated and released from the hospital. Investigation continues to determine why McClure was driving the wrong way.

A 37-year-old woman who is now facing charges of DUI was driving west in the eastbound lanes of Highway 18 at about 9:30pm when she was side-swiped by an eastbound car that was driven by a 52-year-old woman. The wrong-way driver then struck another eastbound vehicle driven by a 48-year-old woman head-on. All three drivers were transported to the hospital, though their identities and the severity of their injuries remains unknown.

A 48-year-old man had allegedly been drinking before he started driving east in the westbound lanes of I-94, and struck an oncoming car on its driver's side. The occupants of the other vehicle, only identified as a man and woman from Jackson, 27 and 28-years-old respectively, were taken to the hospital; their conditions are stable. The man who caused the crash has been arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and causing serious injuries. Check back for updates as investigation continues.

Erik Refvik was driving on Martine Ave when he allegedly turned the wrong way onto South Lexington, a one-way street. He then allegedly T-boned a Honda carrying newspaper delivery person Reyda La Madrid and Edgar Lopez as they were crossing South Lexington Avenue. Refvik's vehicle continued on South Lexington Avenue after the collisions, pushing the Honda about 200 feet down the road and trapping both La Madrid and Lopez inside. La Madrid was pronounced dead at the scene, and Lopez was taken to the hospital with internal and upper body injuries.

A wrong-way accident on the Highway 65 bypass claimed the life of one person and injured another Thursday morning. The accident happened around 8:45 a.m. near the Vandalia Road interchange in Pleasant Hill. Officials say 20-year-old Austin Ruppert of Carlisle driving southbound in the northbound lane when he realized the mistake and tried to get into the correct lane. While trying to maneuver the car it was T-boned by a vehicle heading northbound.

A man riding a mini-bike the wrong way on a one-way street Sunday afternoon slammed into a car at an intersection, knocking out several of his teeth and causing critical head injuries, police said. The man, who turned 21 Monday, was not wearing a helmet during the 1:58 p.m. crash at East 25th Street and Chestnut Avenue, according to police.
