Monday, September 8, 2014Pinkham crashed while driving on rural Warm Springs Road. He ran off of the roadway and hit a fence and several trees. Fortunately, there were no other vehicles involved. He was arrested but released to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Friday, September 5, 2014The bus was doing between 20-25 mph when it struck a house in Richmond around 5:30 p.m.Resident Ashley Ortega found her 3-month-old son sitting in his bouncy chair, in the living room, looking up at an AC Transit bus. The gas service line was severed and leaking. Meanwhile seven dazed and bloody passengers, including two children and a bus driver, were trying to escape the bus. Police say they arrested a juvenile male passenger, but his older brother Richard Contreras, the driver, got away on foot.

Thursday, September 4, 2014A driver evading police crashed into a building, hitting a water main and gas main. Two passengers were pulled out of the vehicle by police and later released. One of them, a woman, was taken along with Draudt to a hospital due to minor injuries.

Tuesday, September 2, 2014The loaded truck toppled over, trapping the driver and sending the back doors of the rig flying open. While firefighters worked to free the driver from the wrecked truck, traffic was backing up in the area. Driver's identity and condition not known.

Sunday, August 31, 2014A 50-year-old Bay Point resident Michelle Braz was killed in a hit-and-run in Pittsburg on Sunday evening. Jorge Perez, 29, is being held on suspicion of felony hit-and-run. The truck was described as a silver 2005 or newer Chevrolet truck that was last seen fleeing west on Willow Pass Road. Anyone with information about the case is being asked to call Pittsburg police at (925) 427-7369.

Saturday, August 30, 2014The preliminary investigation suggests that the motorcyclist was speeding when he collided with the back of a vehicle, causing the motorcycle to overturn and eject the driver and passenger onto the roadway. The driver of that vehicle pulled off to the shoulder and cooperated with the investigation. Moments later, the Ford Mustang collided with the rider. The driver of that vehicle also pulled over to the center median and cooperated with the investigation, the CHP said.

Saturday, August 30, 2014A 17-year-old boy from Petaluma is suspected of walking away from a fatal car wreck Saturday morning on Bodega Avenue after crashing a pickup into an oncoming Mazda sedan, killing a 51-year-old Napa man. Ubaldo German-Arias Mendoza was killed when his Mazda sedan collided with a 2007 Chevrolet Colorado driven by the teen.
