Columbia, SCA man has been charged with felony DUI involving death and multiple other crimes after he caused a fatal collision in Columbia Saturday night.Arthuro Rios Torres, 30, was driving on Percival Road when he collided with a vehicle, shoving it into oncoming traffic. The driver of third vehicle, 61-year-old Roxina Howell Mack, died at the crash site. Torres left the scene but was arrested at a nearby mobile home park.

Columbia, SCAshlyn Turner, 18, 22 weeks pregnant, was killed in an ATV accident with her sister over the weekend. Turner was driving an ATV on Saturday when she was struck by second ATV on Wrangler Trail in Sumter County. Turner, along with her sister Samantha Turner, 16, were transported to the Richland Memorial Hospital in critical condition, and Ashlyn and her baby died Sunday. Samantha, who was 34 weeks pregnant, underwent an emergency C-section. Their current condition is not reported at the time of this report.

Columbia, SCKerrian Abbigale Morris, 19, a University of South Carolina student, died and two people were injured in a collision Saturday in Hopkins. Morris was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Morris was driving a 2012 Hyundai that went through the intersection and was hit on the driver's side by a 2007 Dodge truck. The passenger in the Hyundai was taken to Palmetto Richland hospital with serious injuries. A 54-year-old woman who was driving the truck was also transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Columbia, SCA Manning woman who was involved in a fatal crash Saturday night was charged with felony DUI, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The driver of the vehicle, 34-year-old Maurelio Deleon, died and a passenger was transported to a hospital. The passenger's condition is not known. Tammy Brown was first taken to the hospital, then to the Clarendon County Detention Center on two counts felony DUI and for transporting an alcohol container with the seal broken.

Columbia, SCDriver Benjamin Elliott Owens disregarded a stop sign and a collision occurred. He was pronounced dead at the scene due to trauma associated with the crash. A 17-year-old passenger and the 55-year-old driver of the car he hit were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The collision remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Columbia, SCAuthorities say three people have died in a wreck caused by a 28-year-old woman who was drinking on her birthday and drove the wrong way on Interstate 77 in Fairfield County.
Investigators said Takeya Taylor, of Columbia, was driving the wrong way around 2:30 a.m. Thursday in the southbound lanes of I-77 about five miles from Winnsboro when she hit another vehicle head on.
The coroner's office said Taylor was killed, along with the driver of the other car, 48-year-old Lisa Jefferson, and one of her passengers, 46-year-old Wallace Green. A second passenger in the car remains in the hospital.
