Eric Wayne Pope was riding his bicycle on Reynolds Road when he was struck and killed by a Dodge pickup truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the truck failed to stop. Authorities say Pope was wearing a reflective vest and his bicycle had working head lights.
