Driver seriously injured, horse dead after head-on collision on Eastern Valley Road in Jefferson County, Alabama
Car and horse collide in head-on accident in McAdory; driver in serious condition
McAdory Fire and Resuce Chief Jeff Wyatt told the station that the accident happened around 3:15 a.m. The driver was traveling down Eastern Valley Road and hit the horse near Burchfield Loop Road.
The driver is in serious condition and is being treated for head injuries at UAB hospital.
