18-year-old killed in Colbert County wreck

One woman was killed in a wreck in Colbert County on Wednesday evening at around 7:55 p.m. ALEA officials said Morgan Lynn Turnbow, 17, of Cherokee, was driving a 2005 Kia Spectra. Kiersten Nancy Paige Nichols, 18, of Cherokee, was killed in the wreck. The wreck happened on Asphalt Rock Road, five miles west of Cherokee.
