Coast Guard identifies third victim found in Mobile Bay after boating accident

Searchers have combed the surface of Mobile Bay, dove to sunken boats and flown 20 miles out in the Gulf of Mexico looking for signs of life, he said.

The U.S. Coast Guard Sunday announced that multiple rescue ships and helicopters still were circling Mobile Bay searching for the five missing boaters.

The discovery of the bodies of Adam Clark, 17, of Mobile and Robert Thomas, 50, of Pickens, Miss., left one person still unaccounted for and five confirmed dead since a powerful squall disrupted the Dauphin Island Regatta on Saturday.

It was about 4:30 p.m. when a strong thunderstorm with high winds ravaged Mobile Bay, unfortunately at the same time the Daphin Island Regatta sailboat race was taking place. Of the 119 boats involved in the race, the storm capsized ten of them. So far three bodies have been found and confirmed dead, including: Kris Beall, 27, William Glenn Massey, 67, and Robert Delaney, 72. Four other people are still missing, and search crews continue to scan the area.
