Name released of Selma school employee fatally struck by vehicle
Michael C. King, 49, was struck by a vehicle near a dumpster behind R.B. Hudson Middle School between 2 and 3 p.m. He was taking trash to the dumpster at the time of the crash. Lt. Sam Miller said an elderly woman was driving the vehicle and her brakes failed. She reportedly tried to use the emergency brake, but her vehicle still didn't stop. King died at Vaughan Regional Medical Center from his injuries.
