Two children, two women killed in Lancaster crash involving big rig, car
Four people were killed, including two children, in a crash involving a big rig and a car in Lancaster Friday morning.

CHP officials subsequently told reporters that doctors were unable to save the woman and two boys, one aged 10 or 11, and the other about 7 to 9, according to the CHP. A third child, around 5 years old, was being treated for “major traumatic injuries,” the CHP reported.

Those traveling in the Challenger were all residents of Lancaster, CHP said. Their identities had not been released Friday evening, pending the notification of their next of kin.

The coroner’s office could not immediately comment on whether the Howard boys were brothers, nor the relationship of the critically injured child.
