Five people were injured in a car crash that happened south of Colorado Springs near Fountain.

State trooper encircled by crashes in Colorado Springs is unhurt.

A Colorado state trooper managed to escape injury Saturday afternoon amidst a string of Colorado Springs accidents including one in which a red Chevrolet SUV rolled into his patrol car.

Five people were injured in a car crash that happened south of Colorado Springs near Fountain.

A Colorado State Patrol cruiser was among the cars involved but the state trooper was not hurt.

State Troopers warned drivers about the icy conditions and asked them to drive slowly.
