One pedestrian in critical condition after being hit by car when they were allegedly crossing the street illegally in Denver, CO

The wreck occurred at around 3 p.m. when the pedestrian was crossing Federal Boulevard at Florida Avenue with a flashing red hand sign. The sign then turned to a solid red hand while a car that was traveling southbound continued to move through the intersection and struck the pedestrian, according to the Denver Police Department.
