A 31-year-old Hartford man was killed in an early morning crash on Route 2 Wednesday.
1 Dies After East Hartford Rollover Crash
Rowland was traveling eastbound on Route 2 in a 2009 Nissan Altima when he lost control of the car at about 4:31 a.m. Wednesday, veered off the right side of the road and hit a wire rope guardrail. The car flipped over multiple times down an embankment and landed just before exit 5C on at the ramp to Maple Street, state police said.

At about 4:30 a.m., Rowland was driving a car east on Route 2 when he for some reason veered into the guardrail and flipped multiple times down an embankment, ejecting him from the vehicle in the process. He was found dead at the scene.
