Main Street was closed after the accident for the investigation.

Torrington Jogger Killed In Plow Truck Accident

The Connecticut State Police are aiding the Torrington Police in the investigation. If anyone witnessed the accident, please call Officer Matt Southard or Detective Jim Crean at 860 489-2061.

At around 5:15 a.m. Sunday, police received a call about a man being hit on 95 South Main Street in Torrington. The victim, Michael Walsh, 25, was apparently jogging at the time of the accident. Both Walsh and the snow plow driver were brought to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, where Walsh later died from his injuries. The plow driver was released with minor injuries.
