Kathleen Jasak, 58, of Vernon, was struck and killed while walking on Route 30 near East Street Wednesday morning. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Arrest Driver in Fatal Vernon Crash
Robert Maly, 66, has been arrested in connection with the hit-and-run crash that killed 58-year-old Kathleen Jasak.
Vernon police have identified a woman killed in a crash on Route 30.
Kathleen Jasak, 58, of Vernon, was struck and killed while walking on Route 30 near East Street Wednesday morning. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident closed the road for several hours.
The driver of the car who hit Jasak is Robert Maly, 66, of Wallingford.
Police are still investigating the circumstances of the accident.
