After the impact, he said, the Mercedes rotated counter clockwise and went off the west side of the road and stopped in the grass median. The Volkswagen rolled onto its roof and left the east side of the road where it overturned in a wooded area. The 28-year-old driver was pronounced dead on the scene as a result of his injuries.
