Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Collier County Saturday morning.
The fatal collision occurred on Immokalee Road at around 4:45 a.m when a Toyota SUV was traveling south on Immokalee Road approaching Camp Keais Road. Olivio Lucas, 28, was walking along the road when the SUV hit Lucas and then swerved off the road. The SUV overturned and crashed into a tree. The driver of the SUV, Marie Joseph, 60, was pronounced deceased. Lucas was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
