Troopers are searching for the female driver who took off after striking a 59-year-old woman and an infant in Orange County with her vehicle.

According to the arrest report, "Santana left the scene without providing any information because she thought the woman was going to harm her and she did not know if the woman had a weapon." Troopers also said Santana never called police to report the crash.
Charlene Sandio was pushing her 8-month-old son Ramio Sandio in a stroller at about 2 p.m. when she began to cross Colonial Drive. A white minivan turned onto Colonial Drive and struk them, then fled the scene. Ramir was taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children for treatment of his injuries. Charlene suffered minor injuries and was not hospitalized. Both are expected to live. Police are still searching for the driver.
