They were traveling west on State Road 44 at Eau Claire Avenue east of Deland in Volusia County when an eastbound Toyota Corolla driven by a 41-year-old Orlando man traveled across the center line and struck their motorcycle, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
