Deltona man, 26, dies in Volusia County motorcycle crash(link is external)

"Witnesses reported that the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed," said Gary Davidson, sheriff's office spokesman.
A 26-year-old Deltona man was killed Friday after a head-on motorcycle collision with an SUV. Conrad Lapura was traveling eastbound on Saxon Boulevard near Finland Drive in Deltona around 2 p.m. when for unknown reasons he crossed the center line, and collided with a westbound SUV.  Lapura died while being transported to the hospital. He was wearing a helmet. The driver of the SUV was taken to ah hospital in Orange City to be treated for minor injuries.
