Melissa Ostrom had just gotten off northbound Central Florida GreeneWay, also known as State Road 417, and was on the entrance ramp to westbound Interstate 4 about 12:50 p.m. when her 2002 Ford rolled across the highway, said Sgt. Kim Montes, a Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman.
A 21-year-old Orlando woman was killed Wednesday when she lost control of her sport utility vehicle, which overturned several times on Interstate 4 near Sanford, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Melissa Ostrom had just gotten off northbound Central Florida GreeneWay, also known as State Road 417, and was on the entrance ramp to westbound Interstate 4 about 12:50 p.m. when her 2002 Ford rolled across the highway, said Sgt. Kim Montes, a Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman.
A 2014 Toyota Corolla in the left lane tried to avoid the wreckage but hit the overturned SUV, troopers said. That driver received minor injuries.
Ostrom died at the scene.
