It happened shortly before 12:30 a.m. Thursday on SR-54 west of Highland Loop. A 19-year-old New Port Richey man driving a Hyundai Elantra was going westbound on SR-54 in the center lane. Just behind him in the outside lane, a 68-year-old Holiday woman was also going westbound down the highway.
