Ballinger was riding a 2012 Suzuki GSX R750 motorcycle west on State Road 580 when he to navigate the curve east of Landmark Drive, officials said. The bike crossed the median and the eastbound lanes before hitting a curb and a concrete block wall.
22-year-old Tye Joshua Ballinger of Clearwater died in a high-speed single vehicle motorcycle crash Sunday.
The accident occurred about 1:45 a.m. Sunday in the 2900 block of State Road 580 between Landmark Drive and Countryside High School.
