Driver killed in wrong-way crash on I-275.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating another wrong-way crash on Interstate 275 in Tampa.

A wrong-way crash killed a man on southbound Interstate 275 just north of Bears Avenue in Tampa before 3 a.m. Friday. The crash blocked all lanes on the interstate in both directions for a few hours, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. All lanes are now open

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating another wrong-way crash on Interstate 275 in Tampa.

The crash that killed one person, identified as Chase Kaleb Leveille, 25, happened early Friday in the southbound lanes of I-275 near Bears Avenue.

Troopers say an older model Honda was going north in the southbound lanes when it crashed into an Enterprise rental truck. The driver of the car died in the collision.

The truck driver and his passenger escaped with minor injuries.

The interstate was closed in both directions for several hours.

This is the second fatal, wrong-way crash along this stretch of I-275 in two weeks.
