James Warfle, 42, pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by pick-up truck in Tampa, Florida

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report a 1998 Ford F-150 pick-up truck driven by 50-year-old Robert Barnhardt of Spring Hill was traveling north in the center lane approaching the intersection of 36th Ave. South. Barnhardt attempted to change lanes when he struck Warfle, who was on the edge of the outside lane.
James Warfle was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 10:30 pm. The driver who struck Warfle on US 41 in Tampa, Robert Barnhardt, did not see the pedestrian until it was too late. Barnhardt immediately stopped to call for help. The investigation continues and charges against the driver are pending.

Iam james warfles half sister. i know nothing can ever replace my brother but i wish there was a way the guy that hit him could contact me. i don't hold a grudge against him he has enough he has to live with id like to hear what happen please. god bless him and his family for they have a long road ahead of them. james was a wonderful brother and will be missed.

I had the privilege to work with James he was a man with a big heart. I could always count on him when I needed his help. I'm so sorry for the lose of a friend. To his family my deepest sympathy. Heaven is blessed to have him. See you again my friend!
