St. Petersburg Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a Georgia woman on vacation in the area with her family.

Detectives said Donnelly, who is from Georgia, was vacationing with her family.
Pedestrian struck by vehicle, driver apprehended
A vehicle, driven by 35-year-old Richard Todd Ford, traveling northbound on Pasadena Avenue struck Donnelly then fled the scene.
Police: Car involved in hit-and-run found in St. Petersburg
The suspect vehicle, a 2006 BMW with damage to the right front, windshield or right side, left the scene, police said. Police on Sunday recovered the BMW registered to Richard Todd Ford, 35, at Ford’s home on 28th Avenue N. No charges have been filed and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
Georgia woman injured in St. Petersburg hit-and-run dies
Nicole Donnelly, 24, of Marietta, Ga., was pronounced dead at 10:42 a.m. at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, police said.
Nicole Donnelly was trying to flag down vehicles on Pasadena Avenue when a vehicle struck her and left the scene, leaving her seriously injured. Authorities later recovered the vehicle, described as a 2006 BMW. The accident is still under investigation.
