Winter Haven 17-year-old killed, 15-year-old critically hurt after truck crashes into oak tree
A 17-year-old from Winter Haven was killed Monday afternoon after a single-vehicle crash, according to deputies. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened at about 3:06 p.m. on Spirit Lake Road, south of Oakwood Estates.
