Chiar Raymond, 15, killed in hit-and-run pedestrian accident on High Ridge Road in Boynton Beach, Florida

The 15-year-old victim of a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Saturday night has been identified as Chiar Raymond of Boynton Beach. Raymond was walking home after attending an event at Boynton Beach High School when he was struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene. Boynton police are attempting to find for the vehicle, described as a red or maroon Mercedes, possibly a four-door sedan, with damage to the passenger's side mirror and front bumper. Police said a car heading northbound at 2000 block of High Ridge Road hit the teen, who was walking north alongside the roadway, about 11:15 p.m. It is possible that the car was exiting the area of Quantum Lake Villas. Chiar Raymond was transported to Delray Medical Center, where he died.
