Single car wreck sends driver and passengers to hospital

The driver was charged after a single car wreck on Friday night. A driver and passengers were taken to the hospital after a wreck Friday night in the 4800 block of Hill Road. According to Dougherty County Police, a driver ran off the road, struck several trees and ran into a ditch around 9:00 p.m. The vehicle was heading East in the right lane of Ga. 520 when it ran off onto the South shoulder. The diver and passengers were taken to Phoebe Putney by EMS. The driver was charged with failure to maintain lane.
