The incident occurred about 8:07 a.m. near a bus stop on Akers Mill Road by Galleria Drive when a 30-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle, which then struck a 50-year-old man on the sidewalk, according to Maj. Jeff Adcock, commander of Cobb Police Precinct 3.
