On Wednesday night a car ran into a fire truck that was responding to an accident with injuries in Atlanta when it was hit. Due to the the accidentall southbound lanes on I-75/85 were shut down near University Avenue in downtown Atlanta. A police spokesperson said the vehicle hit the "fire truck apparatus." The driver of the vehicle was breathing and alert on arrival at the hospital.
