Police: Student dies after crash that killed older brother

DACULA, Ga. (AP) - Police say a 15-year-old high school student has died from a car crash that also killed his older brother in suburban Atlanta. His 17-year-old brother Jared Brown was pronounced dead shortly after the crash with 44-year-old Richard Ford on Friday. Jaison Brown rode as the passenger. Brian Doan told local news media Saturday that Jaison Brown died after he was critically injured in the wreck about two miles away from Dacula High School. Jared Brown was the driver of the vehicle.

Funeral arrangements announced for teen brothers killed in crash

Funeral arrangements have been announced for two Dacula brothers killed in a crash on SR 316 in Gwinnett County. Police say a 15-year-old high school student has died from a car crash that also killed his older brother in suburban Atlanta. Jared Brown, 17, and his 15-year-old brother Jaison both died in the accident. Richard Ford, 44, of Bethlehem, was driving a red 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser westbound on SR316 in the lane closest to the median. Brown, 17, of Lawrenceville was driving a red 1992 Honda Accord on SR316 preparing to turn left onto Harbins Road.
