Linda Holmes, 74, of Lilburn, was stopped at a stop sign on Banks Street at Queen City Parkway in a Kia Optima.
“As (the Kia) conducted the left turn onto (Queen City Parkway), there was a pedestrian who was improperly in the roadway,” according to state patrol.
Pamesha Stroud, 23, of Gainesville, was standing in the center turn lane on Queen City Parkway and struck by the Kia.
