Carol Godard, 66, was driving east near the Concord Road overpass about 9:40 p.m. when her 2000 Saturn SL2 crossed the center median into westbound traffic, killing her and a 79-year-old passenger identified as Margaret Elson, according to Sgt. Wayne Delk, spokesman for Cobb police.
