Two-year-old boy dies after car crashes into Arrowrock Reservoir

Idaho State Police say 31-year-old Lawrence Lutton of Lowden, Wash., was driving west in a 2000 Toyota Corolla with his two sons when his car left the roadway and went into the reservoir.

The Ada County coroner says a two-year-old boy involved in an accident on Arrowrock Road late Friday night has died from his injuries at a Boise hospital.

Idaho State Police say 31-year-old Lawrence Lutton of Lowden, Wash., was driving west in a 2000 Toyoto Corolla with two children when his car left the roadway and went into the reservoir.

A passerby transported one of the children to St. Luke's Medical Center in Boise, while two-year-old Riley Lutton was flown by air ambulance to St. Luke's.

The coroner says Riley died at the hospital at 7:30 p.m. Monday. The cause of death is still pending.

Idaho State Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
